  • "Absolutely 200000000/10 for DJ Dimitri S! From the minute we spoke about the vibe we wanted, he understood everything. I was nervous about having too many specifics (no slow songs, genres we definitely wanted, things we didn't want, etc.) and he nailed every. single. request. Not only did he listen and really get what I was picturing, but he had fantastic ideas on what he thought would work and it was unbelievable how well they were executed. Direct quote from my dad: "I have never been to a wedding where every person was on the dance floor from start to finish because the music was so good". The cocktail hour, the intro, the hype at the beginning of the night all the way through - no one wanted it to end. The music was perfection, but also the way Dimitri arrives with style, elegance and his own set up that matches your aesthetic - unmatched. One major source of memories from your wedding day is your reception and how packed the dance floor was. Did everyone get out there and dance? Did the DJ make the night feel like it flew by because the music was so amazing with no lulls or cheesy songs? Well, if you choose DJ Dimitri, your memory of the reception will be so amazing that you find yourself wishing you could go back and spend more time on the dance floor (true story). From the very first time we saw DJ Dimitris Instagram; we knew he was the one for us. The classy and sophisticated look with the professional equipment mixed with his demeanor and skill level made it a no brainer. After meeting with him and hearing how he structures the night and makes the music flow based on the energy level in the room, AND the fact that he refuses to play the classic terrible wedding songs or how we didn’t have to come with a long list of must play songs made us sign the agreement immediately. Throughout the entire process of planning the wedding, the section on our agendas surrounding DJ Dimitri were always skipped because we would tell our planners “He has it covered” and sure enough, he had us covered from start to finish and we did not have to think of a single thing before or during the wedding. He had the entire night flowing without hesitation and even had the older generations on the dance floor the entire night. Feedback from our guests were that they have never danced that much during a wedding or seen a dance floor that packed. Our late-night bites section was empty at points because people were dancing so much! I know this is a long review, but I want people to understand that going with DJ Dimitri will be the best decision you can make and will result in a packed dance floor and the lowest level of stress possible when it comes to having a DJ. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who wants the absolute best of the best from a professional level, but also a personal level. He responded to emails within minutes, met with us both on Zoom and in person, and immediately matched the vibe we were going for. I cringe when I think of wedding entrances, but Dimitri helped organize us and set the tone for a fun night without corny bridal party entrances. He even went above and beyond to trim our first dance song the week before.
